Japanese Bamboo Incense Diffuser
id:  1
Japanese Bamboo Incense Diffuser

description
Bamboo is the grass… the tallest grass on earth. Bamboo can grow more than 3 feet a day! One of the reasons why this is possible is the ability of the bamboo to quickly “transport” water from roots to its top (which can be as high as 100 feet from the ground).

This great ability of bamboo to absorb and transport water became the underlying principal behind our Bamboo Diffusers. Thin Bamboo reed absorbs the scented oil and quickly transports it to its very top. The oil then diffuses from the bamboo surface filling the room with subtle aroma. The tip of the Bamboo reed is decorated with a special pattern that adds charm to this beautiful diffuser and also helps the oil diffusion.

The aroma oil used for this diffusers has a story of its own: more than a decade ago a young Japanese entrepreneur, who had always been fascinated by the original Japanese culture and traditions, teamed up with his friend, professor of Chemistry, in the effort to create scents, that will be unmistakably Japanese… filled with Japanese culture and tradition...

To explain what that means, the creator of the scents talks about Japanese way to communicate with each other. The language was not the most important part of communication in old Japan: body position, gestures, movements, eye contact – all of these were the “quiet” language that could tell you much more about a person and what he or she feels, than the language itself. But this “quiet” language is not obvious; - one needs to be attentive and sensitive in order to understand it.

This concept of “quiet” communication was used as a guideline for these incenses. They do not have strong scent (which usually smells good for the first several days and later becomes annoying and unbearable and there is little you can do to make it less intense). These incenses will fill your room with a subtle warm scent and it will remain consistent until the last drop of oil in the diffuser. You will not get tired of it - you will be enjoying again and again every time you enter the room.

Enoy these traditional Japanese scents... or give this bit of Japanese culture and traditions to someone special.
