No, it's not an optical illusion - this Globe really is levitating!
And it's not a magic - it's a combination of latest technology and the magnetic forces that keep this globe floating in the air.

The top portion of the base as well as the Globe sphere contain a permanent magnet. But the main secret is hidden in the bottom part of the base: it uses the electric magnet and the strength of that magnetic field is controlled by a small processor which constantly measures the distance between the globe and the top portion of the base and generates magnetic field needed to keep the globe levitating between the two magnets.
